Digestive Balance With Aloe Vera Juice + Recipe!
Aloe Vera gel is a well-known summer staple as its moisturizing, soothing and cooling properties are fantastic at treating skin burns and irritations. Did you know keeping liquid aloe on hand all year round can help soothe the digestive tract too? Just as the gel soothes our skin, the liquid has a comparable action on our digestive tract.
Often referred to as our gut, our digestive tract is one of our first lines of defense when it comes to foreign invaders like viruses. If our digestive tract isn’t functioning optimally, we can be more susceptible to illness. Supporting our gut health thus helps prime our immune response.
As many of us have opened our social circles and are entertaining friends and family again to support our social and mental health, it’s still important to think of our physical health and proper nutrition.
Aloe Vera is a digestive tonic high in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and seven essential amino acids. Because it’s rich in antioxidants, Aloe Vera is an effective anti-inflammatory for the entire digestive tract. Health First Aloe Vera Juice contains only the inner fillet of the Aloe plant, and acts by coating an inflamed and irritated gut to give fast relief.
Take the opportunity to support gut and immune health by incorporating health-promoting aloe into your smoothies and other beverage recipes. Not only will your guests thank you for such delicious and refreshing elixirs, but their digestive systems will too!
